Support Groups and Informational Seminars

Quad Cities Alzheimer’s Association – Learn about signs and symptoms, stages, diagnosis, treatment and care of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Come with any questions about Alzheimer’s and/or Related Dementia to “Ask the Experts” on Wed., Oct. 3, 4–5 p.m.. Life After Loss Support Group – Genesis – Meetings at the Illini Campus are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month 2 – 3:30 p.m. at the Little Brick House, 1213 Hospital Drive, Silvis, IL This is an ongoing group, new members welcome at any time. Meetings at the West Campus are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month noon to 1:30 p.m. at Genesis West, 1401 W. Central Park, Davenport, IA. This is an ongoing group, new members welcome at any time. Also at Genesis West is an evening group that started meeting in August and will continue through October. 6:30 – 8 p.m. Monday nights on the even dates of the month. 10/8 and 10/ 22. MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Support Group – A support group for people and family members with multiple sclerosis. Prostate Cancer: Us, Too, Greater Quad City Cancer Support Group – Support Group for those dealing with Prostate Cancer or who had prostate cancer. Group meets the 3rd Thurs. of each month, except December from 7 – 9 pm. Location alternates between Trinity Medical Center, 7th St. Campus and the Genesis Adler Health Education Center, 1236 E.
