Welcome to The Center in the Hilltop Campus Village

Welcome to The Center located at 1411 Brady Street in the Hilltop Campus Village of Davenport. In 2009, a large retail space was converted to a place for multiple uses for organizations and community gatherings named The Center. It became an active part of this area. It is a non-profit organization providing a place where neighbors can come together for friendship and fellowship. The Center focuses on showing God’s love in three major area; youth, homeless outreach and community.

Youth – The Center reaches out to at risk youth providing a safe and positive place to be. We seek to empower our youth to work for the sake of Jesus Christ.

Homeless Outreach – The Center is on the front lines daily ministering to the homeless and underprivileged communities. We provide basic survival needs, information on community services and respectful human interaction.

Community – The Center is a holistic ministry committed to living on community. The Center is host to many community events, dinners, concerts as well as meetings and wedding receptions.

This place is home to the Solid Rock Café’ as well as numerous meeting rooms and performance venues. The Center has been making a real impact in the Hilltop Campus Village and on neighborhoods in the vicinity. They are offering office space and classroom space to the following:

*Eastern Iowa Community Colleges – will be teaching classes four nights a week

*Quad Cities Harm Reduction – an alliance of parents and concerned citizens who advocate reducing the harm of drug use through the lens of public health

*Quad Cities Alliance for Refugees and Immigrants – the mission is to build a community among the Quad Cities’ refugees, immigrants and citizens.

*Youthhope – mission is to reach out to areas of the community to meet physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual needs. Our primary focus is the underprivileged areas of our community, yet our mission encompasses the community as a whole. We believe that sharing Christ with people is the main ingredient in meeting their needs.

December 9, The Center is hosting a neighborhood Christmas Party. They are in need of donations and volunteers to make this event memorable for the neighborhood. Please call (563) 323-5295 for all of the information!
