For over 40 years CASI has stood the test of time, caring for the hearts, minds and bodies of the Quad Cities older adults.

Dear Friend,

They say true friendship is seen through the heart and not the eyes. It is with a very full heart that I tell you how very blessed we are to count you among our circle of friends. For over 40 years CASI has stood the test of time, caring for the hearts, minds and bodies of the Quad Cities older adults. We have accepted and embraced our role as the only Nationally Accredited Quad Cities Senior Center and have welcomed the opportunity to grow alongside you. We thank you for helping to make 2017 an amazing year.

Over the past twelve months, with the support of our Friends of CASI, we have:

  • 1,000 older adults were served through our Senior Advocacy program, connecting Older Adults with services needed need to remain independent in their home for as long as is safe and healthy. At the end of fiscal year 2016, over 97% of our advocacy clients remained independent in their homes.
  • 100 individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias were served in our Jane’s Place Adult Day Services program. Caregivers have called this program a life saver in their care of loved ones with dementia.
  • 1,100 hours of reading support were given to school age children with lower than average reading comprehension scores. Our Listen to Me Read program matches senior
volunteers with children at risk of falling behind in reading and offers the children an additional opportunity to practice reading with a supportive adult.
  • 7,400 activities focusing on CASI’s three pillars of successful aging; socialization, health/wellness and supportive
services were offered to Quad City older adults.

With the Baby Boomer generation just now walking through our doors, we have much, much more to do.

So how can you, our Friend, help us carry forth our mission and help the Quad Cities age successfully?

Consider the options below:

  • $100 Donation covers one month of service through the Senior Advocacy program.
  • $60 Donation covers one day’s service at Jane’s Place Adult Day Services program
  • $30 Donation covers one senior’s annual membership fee

From all of us at CASI, we thank you for your support this past year and look forward to an even more amazing year in 2018.
