QC Breast Cancer Support Group (Iowa): First Tues. of each month, from 7 – 9 p.m., Trinity at Terrace Park, 4500 Utica Ridge Road, Bettendorf. (Illinois): Third Wed. of each month, noon to 1 pm at Butterworth Center, 1105-8th Street, Moline For women dealing with breast cancer or survivors of breast cancer. Diabetes Support Group at Genesis: First Tues. of each month, 11 am to Noon, Larson Center, Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL For people with diabetes who are interested in receiving help with diabetes self-management. Cost: free. Registration: (309) 792-4389.

Life After Loss Support Group – Genesis – Meetings at the Illini Campus are the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month 2 – 3:30 p.m. at the Little Brick House, 1213 Hospital Drive, Silvis, IL This is an ongoing group, new members welcome at any time. Meetings at the West Campus are the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month noon to 1:30 p.m. at Genesis West, 1401 W. Central Park, Davenport, IA. Low Vision Support Group at CASI: the first Thursday of every month 10 am to noon. Dec. 6, 2012, a musician will be playing the guitar. Hosted by Ben Lorenzen at CASI, 1035 W. MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Support Group – A support group for people and family members with multiple sclerosis. Prostate Cancer: Us, Too, Greater Quad City Cancer Support Group – Support Group for those dealing with Prostate Cancer or who had prostate cancer. Group meets the 3rd Thurs. of each month, except December from 7 – 9 pm. Location alternates between Trinity Medical Center, 7th St. Campus and the Genesis Adler Health Education Center, 1236 E. Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House in Moline– Catch the warm glow of the holidays at 19th Century Christmas! An annual presentation of the historic Butterworth Center and Deere-Wiman House in Moline, this year’s festivities will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2, from noon to 5 p.m. The family-friendly event includes fun for all ages in four unique venues, all within easy walking distance of each other.
