Friendship Manor – Continuing Care Retirement Community

Information from Friendship Manor

As the Illinois Quad Cities’ only Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Friendship Manor offers residents independent living in either an apartment or villa with the convenience of assisted living, assisted living memory care, respite care, hospice care, comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation, and in-home services, all in one location.

As a Continuing Care Retirement Community, our main goal is to be here for residents as their lifestyle and health needs may change – to assure them of as comfortable a transition for care giving as possible; keeping them close to friends and familiar staff.

Living at Friendship Manor gives residents delicious dining options, housekeeping assistance, a full schedule of activities and outings and the opportunity to stay fit and strong with exercise classes or individual training.

Some residents move from their home into a Friendship Manor villa and then into an independent or assisted living apartment home as their health needs change. The 13-residence Villas are located across the street and come with access to Friendship Manor amenities including dining, exercise classes and rehabilitation services. Choosing a villa is a great transitional option for couples or singles who are still independent and not quite ready to move into an apartment.

Before you decide to move into a villa or apartment home, you can join Friendship Connection to meet your future neighbors and get familiar with the amenities and services. The pre-residency program lets you join us for Friendship Connection activities like social mixers, day trips and educational seminars. Enjoy dining privileges at the same rate as residents. When you join Friendship Connection for $500, you’ll be placed on our priority wait list for a studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment. Apply your membership fee to your first month’s rent when you move in.

As a faith-based, nonprofit community, retained earnings provide expanded services and amenities allowing Friendship Manor to continue to create a secure, carefree, and enriched way of life for residents. With generous support from our donors, the Manor’s Silver Cross Health and Rehabilitation Pavilion is able to provide $1 million of annual, unreimbursed charity care for skilled nursing residents who have outlived their resources. Offering skilled nursing allows residents to stay at Friendship Manor while recovering from surgery or illness or experiencing a change in health.

Quad Citians’ golden years are meant to be lived with meaning and celebration. We experience that each day as we honor our mothers and fathers who have chosen to call Friendship Manor home.
