Quad Cities Alzheimer’s Association has moved to 2208 E. 52nd St, Suite B, Davenport, 52807. We are very pleased about this move and are eager to continue serving the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and their families from our new location. Aphasia Group GENESIS MEDICAL CENTER All Aphasia Support Group meetings are held the second (2nd) Tuesday of each month. Call Linda McNeill, Speech Therapist, at 563-421-3490 or Rebecca Rall, Speech Therapist, at 563-468-1443.

QC Breast Cancer Support Group (Iowa): First Tuesday of each month, 7-9 pm downstairs Trinity at Terrace Park, 4500 Utica Ridge Road, Bettendorf. (Illinois):Third Wednesday of each month, noon luncheon at Butterworth Center, 1105-8th Street, Moline For women dealing with breast cancer or survivors of breast cancer. Diabetes Support Group at Genesis: First Tuesday of each month, 11:00AM to Noon, Larson Center, Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL Recommended for people with diabetes who are interested in receiving help with diabetes self-management. Cost: none. Registration: 309-792-4389

Stroke Support Group: Third Wednesday of each Month, 2-3 p.m., Genesis at Maplecrest, 2535 Maplecrest Road, Suite 14, Bettendorf. The Genesis Support Group brings together stroke survivors and their families in an atmosphere of caring and sharing to assist recovery. You will be “working with the life energy” when learning Qigong, the ancient Chinese art of cultivating and training your internal energy to relieve stress and pain for health and healing.
