Quad Cities Alzheimer’s Association has moved to 2208 E. 52nd St, Suite B, Davenport, 52807. We are very pleased about this move and are eager to continue serving the needs of those with Alzheimer’s and their families from our new location. Parkinson Support Group Meets at CASI:  Please join the Davenport Metro Parkinson Support Group at 10 am –Noon, third Sat of the month at CASI, 1035 W. Kimberly Rd, Davenport. Program for March 20th meeting – Maria  Salata, the director/trainer of PAW’D, will come out to tell us about what they  do and how they train the dogs to help the disabled. Games and Exercises to Boost Creativity, Strengthen Mental Clarity and Enhance Vitality – At CASI Thursdays 9:30 – 10:30 now through April 8   $3.00 per class Through the use of non-competitive games, simple mental exercises and gentle movement you can “tune in” to your creative self by story-telling, pretending and fun. The rhythmic exercises will promote a strong and flexible body core. An exercise mat is required for class.

T’ai Chi offers meditation in motion, a system of rounded, fluid and balanced movements that help center your mind and strengthen your body.

“working with the life energy” when learning Qigong, the ancient Chinese art of cultivating and training your internal energy to relieve stress and pain for health and healing.
Yoga: Mind and Body 6:30-7:30 p.m., Mondays, ($42/six weeks) 7:30-8:30 p.m., Mondays, ($42/six weeks) 5-6 p.m., Wednesdays,  ($42/six weeks) 6-7 p.m., Thursday, ($42/six weeks) Hatha Yoga emphasizes the development of strength, stamina, and flexibility by utilizing the body’s postures and breathing techniques essential to your mental and overall wellness. An exercise mat is required for class.
