Through a generous donation by Kiwanis International, the Davenport Public Library is now offering a special collection: Storytime in a Box! This collection will prove useful to parents and caregivers looking for resources to share with toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary school children. Local daycares and preschools may also want to utilize the great learning tools found in these fun kits!

Each Storytime in a Box is a plastic tub filled with eight picture books, one DVD, one music CD, and a special toy all related to a particular theme. The themes are wide-ranging, and include topics such as Cats, Feelings, Oceans, and Winter. The kits will be available at the Fairmount Branch and Eastern Avenue Branch libraries in the Children’s Areas and may be checked out for three weeks! Stop by our Branches and check one out today! If you have questions, call 563-326-7832.
