Summer Benefits Planned to Help Moline Girl Battle Leukemia

Alexis Willey is a 14-year-old Moline girl battling leukemia. She is being seen in Iowa City and working toward a bone marrow transplant. Two benefits are scheduled to help defray some of the medical costs for her family. The first is a trivia benefit being held at the Knight’s of Columbus Hall on Friday, June 24th, and the second is a dinner, poker run, and “Hug Your Kid” event benefit being held at Leisure Time in East Moline on Saturday, July 23rd.
