Race for the Cure

Your mom. Your daughter. Your wife. Your neighbor. Your friend. All loved ones that could get breast cancer, since one out of eight women get breast cancer over a lifetime.
Whose life are you running for?

The 23rd annual Susan G. Komen Quad-Cities Race for the Cure® is your chance to be part
of the cure for breast cancer. Sign up at for the 5K or 1.2 mile event and make a difference.

The majority of Race for the Cure Registration stays in a local, eight-county, bi-state service area to fund mammograms and help medically underinsured and underserved women. Mammograms are key to detecting breast cancer early and saving lives. The five-year survival rate for breast cancer, when caught early, is over 98 percent. While up to 75 percent of Race proceeds from the Quad-City Race remain local, approximately 25 percent help fund Komen’s Research Grant Program to find a cure for breast cancer.

Since the Komen Quad-Cities Race for the Cure began in 1990, we’ve raised more than $4.89 million. While we’ve made significant strides, the Race is not over. That’s why your continued support is so important. Please, sign up today!
