Welcome to 2015! We have new columns this month, and I hope you find them interesting and educational. We’re proud of our local columnists and contributors who make 50+ Lifestyles a uniquely local magazine!
As noted on the front cover this month, the Quad Cities Convention and Visitor Bureau is celebrating 25 years of promoting the Quad Cities. If you know Joe Taylor, you know that he is one who lives and breathes his calling. I have had the pleasure of working for Joe and with his staff promoting the Quad Cities as a place to come and have fun. I recall that in 1998, the Womens’ International Bowling Congress was here, and the hotels and restaurants were busy all year. Joe has become Mr. Quad Cities, and he wears that hat well!
50+ Lifestyles is your magazine. I have received suggestions from people, which are always welcome. Please let us know topics that are of interest to you – we will do our best to include guest columns on subjects that are important
to you.
Also, we have added 26 new locations in the last two months and are always looking for new locations to offer our free magazine.
