Retire? Be Tired? Or Refocus?

If you are 62 years old, now is the time to consider a new future. Retirement years can be fun and fulfilling, especially when shared with others in a retirement community. Why mope around the house when you can enjoy life with other seniors? There are so many opportunities, whether you need Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or a Health Center. Ridgecrest has a Life Care program that promotes healthy living.

Ridgecrest Village will celebrate their 50 year anniversary in 2016! It is a great example of a new home where you can enjoy life with everything needed close at hand… great food (which you don’t have to cook!), many activities, a full-time Chaplain, enjoyable music or singing, a Woodshop, a resale room… blood pressure checks, food care, a Registered Dietitian and Gourmet Chef, 300 volunteers (half are Ridgecrest residents and half from our local community), book clubs, card games, pool tables, ping pong table, even transportation for appointments and outside activities. There is an exercise room with classes, computer studio with a retired teacher to give advice on email, internet, and even Skype for communicating with family and friends. A General Store and a beauty shop are located in the Mini-Mall, and the Arcade offers coffee or cappuccino, Taco Tuesday, chili, sandwiches, a gift shop, and more. The residents say they wish they had moved in earlier so they could have enjoyed these benefits and lifestyle even more years!

So is it better to retire, be tired, or refocus into a new life? You have greater opportunities than just staying at home. Come visit us at Ridgecrest Village and discover a whole new world waiting for you! Contact Bob at (563) 388-3431, or Mary at (563) 388-3215 for lunch and a tour.
