October Grand Opening for Astral Muse – Hilltop Campus Village

Astral Muse, an eclectic mini-emporium of hippie and ‘60s style merchandise, has been open since mid-summer. However, Jami Borgus, the store owner, is proclaiming the entire month of October as the Grand Opening! To celebrate this, she is offering a 10% off sale of all merchandise during the month of October. In addition to this, there will be other spectacular savings on different items at different times.

Astral Muse is located at 232 W. 15th Street, Hilltop Campus Village, Davenport, Iowa, just a few
doors down from East Side Bakery and across the street from the Hilltop Plaza Park.Store hours are Tuesday through Friday, 12 noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The phone number is (563) 340-4770. You can also visit their Facebook page, The Astral Muse, LLC. Jami says this of her store: “The inventory is constantly evolving. Tie-dye clothes, jewelry, candles, incense, pagan supplies, tapestries, purses, etc…” Jami also does physic and Tarot readings, sometimes during store hours if time and customers allow, or by appointment before or after. She will also be offering classes on Physic Development, Beginning Tarot and Astrology Overview with a free natal chart with interpretation.

Jami is a native Davenport gal, raised by a couple of free-thinking parents. She chose to open her shop in the Hilltop Campus Village because of the location. It is not far from where she lives, and the place just seemed to have the right feel or “vibe” as she put it.

So stop in this month, say “Hi” to Jami and relive the days of love, peace symbols, tie-dye, beads, incense and psychedelic colors! It truly is a unique shop.
