Introducing Park Vista Retirement Living

I am pleased to share a little information about two locally owned senior living communities, Park Vista Retirement Living – North Hill in East Moline, Illinois and Park Vista Retirement Living – Camanche, located in Camanche, Iowa. These communities are operated by Park Vista Senior Housing Management, a locally owned organization that oversees a total of eight properties—six in Wisconsin, along with the East Moline and Camanche locations.

The East Moline community, known as North Hill, is situated on the former site of United Township High School, perched atop a hill on 14 lush acres with beautiful views. It features 191 apartments, including independent villas, independent apartments within the main building, assisted living apartments, and secured memory care units with private apartments. North Hill was built in 1997, with the independent living building added in 2006. The two buildings are connected by an underground passageway. The campus offers transportation seven days a week and has a nurse on duty 24 hours a day to meet the needs of its residents.

The Camanche property, built in 2018, offers independent apartments, assisted living, and secured memory care with a closer care option for those needing additional support. This community includes a beautiful library, courtyard, fireplace, and a bar area for happy hours and special events.

Both properties offer dual licensure and the ability to age in place, robust daily activities, bus trips, transportation, housekeeping, and, of course, delicious dining—all included in the rent. Assisted Living and Memory Care residents also receive nursing care and laundry services. Residents enjoy social engagement and peace of mind in a secure, private, and beautifully maintained setting.

Temporary respite stays are also available at both locations in fully furnished apartments. Some guests come for additional recovery after a hospital stay, while others use respite stays to give their caregivers a well-deserved break. These stays can last up to 28 days, and often guests who try respite care decide to move in permanently.
