July 1 – Creative Ice Cream Flavors Day
This is a perfect time to be going out for ice cream. Forget the chocolate and vanilla. Try something new. In the Philippines they have crocodile egg ice cream. In Tokyo you can get raw horse flesh flavored ice cream. Okay, go for the chocolate or vanilla!
July 2 – World UFO Day
July is a perfect time for star-gazing and this month has a day dedicated to the unexplained lights in the sky. Enjoy watching the skies.
July 4 – Independence Day
The 249th birthday of our nation.
July 7 – Chocolate Day
Now this is a day almost everybody wants to celebrate. Remember the four types of chocolate; dark chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. Try them all today.
July 10 – Teddy Bear Picnic Day
What a fun way to have a picnic with children and their bears. Let your imagination go wild and have a great time.
July 11 – National Blueberry Muffin Day
Blueberry muffins are a classic treat. Buy them from the store, a bakery or make your own. Just enjoy.
July 13 – Embrace Your Geekness Day
Are you a geek, a techie or do you leave all things electronic to someone else? Either way, honor the geeks.
July 14 – Shark Awareness Day
Shark week is all well and good for a quick deep-sea scare, but it’s good to take some time to remember that sharks are like any other animal – scared of humans. Sharks are important to the eco-systems.
July 17 – World Emoji Day
Emoji, a Japanese word, means pictograph. The first emoji sets were introduced in the late 1980s and 1990s.
July 20 – Space Exploration Day
July 20, 1969, man first stepped on the moon. Now July 20 is a great day to celebrate all of space exploration.
July 24 – Tell an Old Joke Day
Got an oldie but a goodie? Is it a Dad Joke? Do you only remember the punch line but not the joke? Well, this day could be for you.
