A Pause for Poetry
By Gary Heath
Poet in Residence for 50+ Lifestyles.
Sun Mystery
The sun lies in golden islands,
Dappling through the tall trees,
And all about there is silence,
And an air of primeval mysteries.
Here portends the deep un-happened,
Soon prelude to what has happened.
A sense of mystery lights the sun,
Under ancient limbs till sun is done.
Embark Upon a Birth
Flesh miracle to deliver again,
Past what might have been,
To embark upon a birth,
For a sojourn upon the Earth.
Again, the possibilities arise,
They materialize before our eyes.
Once more the world is seminal,
And the terrestrial potential is full.
In our fading flesh we mark our lives,
Each birth a wonder when life arrives.
