Tranquility to All

Beckons now the gilded halcyon,
Rising from the bright new dawn.
The sun ascends now upon us,
Lights a bright new compass,
Guides us to the well-lit horizon,
Unfolding brightly in the dawn.
Our halcyon days now unfold,
So very scintillant, well foretold.
We rise today to our new world,
Tranquility now to all unfurled.

Our Flag

Our flag waves with the breeze,
The breeze is such a natural tease,
And to the brisk wind the flag snaps,
Rippling with the brass notes of taps.
Our flag waves its bright shiny stars,
And undulates its red and white bars,
As mellow misty bugle notes fade away,
Over the devout people gathered today,
In devotion to our liberty so steadfast,
And the notion our nation will forever last.
