Fourth Annual Icestravaganza

Fourth Annual Icestravaganza in Downtown Davenport

Icestravaganza returns for its fourth year on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Freight House with more interactive ice sculptures, live music, kids’ activities, ice princess guests, giveaways and extended Farmers Market hours.

Award-winning ice-sculptor Dawson List returns to Davenport from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to amaze attendees with large ice sculptures carved live on site at the Freight House, 421 W. River Drive.  Last year, List created the impressive ice eagle throne – and his new signature piece for 2016 is sure to please.

Icestravaganza has two very special sisters making an appearance this year. The famous ice queen and princess will be mingling and taking photos with guests from noon to 2 pm. The family fun doesn’t stop there; Icestravaganza offers live music and FREE indoor kids’ activities including a cookie decorating station, crafts, and Davenport Public Library story time.

For the adults, don’t forget to enter the drawing! Two lucky winners will be going home with a $500 gift
certificate to Necker’s Jewelers! The Freight House Farmers Market will remain open until 4 p.m. so you can shop local, too. After the sun goes down, the sculptures will be lit to make viewing extra spectacular so plan to share fun photos with friends and #tagtheQC!

Icestravaganza is proud to be a part of Be a Tourist in Your Own Backyard Weekend. There’s more fun to be had downtown at the many shops, galleries, museums, bars and restaurants.

Icestravaganza is presented by Genesis Health System and the Downtown Davenport Partnership.   Additional support is provided by KLJB Fox 18, 97X, Quad-City Times, Mickle Communications, Werner Restoration, One Step Printing, Small Wonders Photography,
