A New Hero Comes to the Hilltop Campus Village … Oh, Make that a Gyro
A new eatery has recently opened up in the Hilltop Campus Village – Lendi’s Gyros at 1008 N. Harrison. They open daily at 11:00 a.m. just in time for lunch and remain open until 8:30 pm.
Their signature gyro is made with a seasoned blend of selected beef and lamb cooked to
perfection with all of the flavors sealed in. They are proud to use Kronos products for all of their Mediterranean delights.
Kronos Foods is a Chicago-based company which is a foodservice manufacturer of Mediterranean food in the United States and the largest manufacturer of Gyros in the world.
Lendi’s is proud of its signature gyro, but also specializes in other great sandwiches. There’s the beef tenderloin, chicken fillet or Philly steak sandwich to choose from. Or try the Polish sausage or the all American double cheeseburger. You can find the Chicago hot dog, Italian beef or 21 piece shrimp on the menu. Want something different? Well, try a chicken gyro or gyro
cheeseburger.
They offer many different sides: onion rings, cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, mushrooms and pizza puffs to name a few.
Are you a salad lover? Well, there are three great salads! Greek salad, gyro salad and chicken breast salad.
Lendi’s even has a children’s menu: chicken strips or chicken nuggets or cheeseburger/hamburger with fries and a pop all for $3.50.
