Information from Friendship Manor

Friendship Manor’s pre-residency program, Friendship Connection, lets you experience the Manor’s activities like social mixers, day trips and educational seminars before you decide to move in. It is a great way to meet new friends and experience what life is like at Friendship Manor with no obligation to become a resident. You can hear first hand from other residents about their experiences and favorite things about living at Friendship Manor.

With Friendship Connection, you can take one of our exercise classes for free or shop our convenient Main Street. Main Street includes Ruth’s Country Store where you can pick up small grocery items or personal care products and gifts. Residents can even conduct banking right at Friendship Manor, use the fitness center, visit the library or use the computer all on Main Street.

Enjoy dining privileges at the resident cost per meal in our Emerald Dining Room or Bistro. You can even plan your visit around a holiday to experience our holiday events and see our festivities first hand.

When you’re a member of Friendship Connection, you also receive priority admission to our on-site skilled nursing facility, Silver Cross Health and Rehabilitation Pavilion. Friendship Manor offers several levels of care, with a plan suitable for your specific needs.

When you join Friendship Connection for only $500, you’ll be placed on our priority wait list for a studio, one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartment home. Once your application is approved your membership fee will be applied to your first month’s rent when you’re ready to move in. Friendship Manor’s team will be happy to assist you every step of the way to make your transition as smooth as possible.

Some residents move from their home into one of the Manor’s Friendship Place Villas and then into an independent or assisted living apartment home as their health needs change. The 13-residence villas are located across the street and come with access to Friendship Manor amenities. Choosing a villa is a great transitional option for couples or singles who are still independent and not quite ready to move into an apartment.
