It Takes a Village

So much has changed in the world over the last year. At Ridgecrest Village we are no different.
In March of 2020 according to CDC guidance we, like many senior living communities, closed our doors to visitors and restricted movement within our community. We hoped this virus would go away quickly, but we soon learned this was not to be the case. As a result, our community all pitched in and got flexible and creative.
There was not a team member who did not step up in some way to keep everyone safe. We gathered as a village to innovate how we did everything from food delivery to helping residents move. We embraced testing to assure we kept everyone as safe as possible. Families of residents adapted to ever changing visiting guidelines that brought something different each week. The community at large stepped up with many surprises to help bolster team and residents’ spirits. They supported us and embraced our mission to keep everyone safe.
We are so grateful for our team members, residents, families, and community, who all gave us strong support. We owe our success to all those who jumped in with a whatever it takes attitude. To all those who rallied, changed, and adapt to make our village stronger than ever, we thank you.
